The racing season is hotting up, with many nations in the midst of selection events for the pinnacle #420Class events of the year - the 2016 420 World Championships in Italy and the 2016 420 Junior Europeans in Hungary. The 420 Worlds offers 420 Open, 420 Ladies and 420 Under-17 racing, so you can choose to race against your age group or take a shot at leaderboard prowess in the open age fleets. The 420 Junior Europeans race in Under-19 and Under-17 fleets. Ensuring you get to race against the best #420Class sailors in the world, entry quotas apply for each Championship. Entries are already in from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, USA and Uruguay. Later in the year, the 420 Team Racing World Championships in Italy is also a great opportunity to pitch yourself against the world's best. Online entry is open for all Championships. The 2016 420 General Assembly meeting will take place on 16 July during the 420 Worlds. |
