Xanmar & Herp take up the lead at Blanes

Jordi Xanmar & Joan Herp(Cataluña), scoring another bullet in the only race on Sunday, took the lead on 9 points. Martir Bertrand & Emile Trevisanut (FRA) held their place in 2nd, but on equal 14 points with Imogen & Hermione Stanley.

Skoczek & Soler lead an early French assault on the Gran Prix at Blanes

After two races on Saturday, Gabriel Skoczek & Thibault Soler of Y.C. Mauglio-Carnon (FRA) are in the lead by a point, with Martir Bertrand & Emile Trevisanut (FRA) and Sacha Pelisson & Nicolas Rossi (FRA) are in 2nd and 3rd, both on 7 points, with the Cataluña team, Jordi Xanmar & Joan Herp (ESP) in 4th on 8 pts. Imogen & Hermione Stanley (GBR) lead the Women in 5th overall on 9 pts.

It’s all happening in Spain, well at least in the Balearics and Catalonia! A successful Cli-Ca 2008 just finished in Palma de Mallorca. And now we have the Notice of Race for the 2009 International Gran Prix Vila de Blanes from 2 to 5 January.

Campeonato Argentino - down to the last day!

News, with thanks to Analia at CN Olivos, is in from the Campeonato Argentino. The fleet started the midday race on Saturday, but the wind was too strong to finish. We think that there were breakages, but a further attempt was made in the afternoon, to no avail. We live in hopes for news of racing on the last day - they were due to start at 11.00.
