Second day of the Youth Sailing Worlds
Happy faces and smiles marked the second day of the 2023 Youth Sailing World Championships
With a steady wind breeze of 10-15 knots lots of teams joined the practice session.
Marks and a training area were setup by the 420 Class Coach Nikos Drougkas
The second day of the 2023 Youth Sailing World Championships was a day full of sailing. Teams were able to train in the racing area where the event will take place with 420 Class Coach Nikos Drougkas setting up a training area with marks. With a steady breeze of 10-15 knots the teams were able to get into racing mode ahead of tomorrow's practice race and do their equipment setups. The day ended with happy faces in the boat park and the Opening Ceremony following up at 18:00 Brazil time.
Tomorrow is the Official Practice race with the 420 Male/Mixed crews sailing first at 13:00 and the 420 Female crews following at 15:00.
