The pair launched their attack with back to back wins, followed by a pair of tenth places, before accelerating back to claim two more wins in the 6 race qualification series. No surprise to see such domination, as the pair has enjoyed a formadable career in the 420, including winning the 2015 420 Junior Europeans. Pushing hard and closest challengers were German brother and sister partnership Jan Borbet/Lea Borbet, along with Shawn Harvey/James Westerberg (USA).

Headlining the 162 boat fleet as they advanced to the gold fleet finals stage, Rogers/Parkin yet again put together the best scorecard, to win by 6 points over the Borbets. Third to Philipp Royla/Jonas Royla.

Top girls team were Sofie Schone/Line Theelemann (GER) in 14th overall.

420 Class sailors from across Europe were joined by a strong contingent of 15 teams representing USA,
