Junior Europeans winners Justin Liu & Sherman Cheng returned to Changi International from the SEA Games in Pattaya, Thailand triumphant again. Raffles Institution student Justin, was accompanied homeward by an equally triumphant big sister, Dawn Liu. The previous 420 Women’s Champion helm from the last SEA Games in Manila in 2005 , Dawn was celebrating again this week. With her crew, former hurdler, Elizabeth Tan, they took the Women’s 470 Gold in Thailand, an important step in their Olympic journey. And Elizabeth’s sister, Sara, featured on the wire in our Rolling Photos over the last week or so, took Silver in the Women’s 420, with her helm, Jovina Chew. 420 sailing seems to be flourishing in Singapore….and a largely family affair!
