NOTICE OF RACE PUBLISHED AND ENTRY OPEN FOR 2017 420 TEAM RACING WORLDS
The Notice of Race and Entry Form for the 2017 420 Team Racing World Championship taking place on Lake Garda, Italy, 23-26 August have been published and entries are now open.
Hosted on the same waters of Lake Garda as the past two years' events, the 420 Team Racing World Championships has proved itself as an attractive formula for young 420 sailors, with a strong line-up competing.
The entry fee of EUR1,600 per team (6 x sailors, 1 x support person) includes the provision of all boats, with support from Nautivela who have partnered with the 420 Class to provide all equipment, and also includes accommodation and meals for the duration of the Team Racing World Championship.
The Championship targets 420 sailors aged 20 and under in the year of the event, with three skippers and three crews making up each racing team, and a maximum of 4 persons of the same gender per team. A maximum of twelve national teams can compete, with no more than two teams from any one nation.
Interested teams should complete the Appplication Form, which is attachment 2 in the Notice of Race and submit it to the Organizing Committee on info@campioneunivela.it by 20 July 2017. Once invitations have been issued by the Organizing Committee payment of entry fees is due by 30 July.
