Qing Rachel Lee & Rui Qi Cecilia Low continue to fire bullets in every race in the Women’s 420 competition at the Asian Games.

Although World Champions Xiaman Justin Liu & Feng Yaun Sherman Cheng of Singapore led into the third day at Shanwei, in spite of the two wins by Korea on day 2, the pressure is coming from all directions! In race 5, the reigning Junior World Champions, Atiwat Chomtongdee & Navee Thamsoontorn won and Hiroki Yamaguchi &Tetsuya Isozaki of Japan won race 6. According to the unofficial, but very informative SingaporeSailing Games page (see below), the SIN boys are still hanging onto 1st overall, in spite of a 3rd and 2nd today.

Unfortunately, we remain dependent for official news on the Games Website – which seems to provide only race winners, and Sailing Asian – which should be providing the cumulative fleet results, but the overall men’s results currently (12.00 GMT) posted are only for Day 1.

Looks, from SINsailing’s Games microsite and twitter page, that “the haze (had) set in and wind (was) very light” when they went on the water on Day 3, so we guess that the racing was in light winds today at the Guangdong Ocean Sports Training Centre, Shanwei
