It’s Imperia again….117 420s entered
Racing at the Imperia Winter Regatta starts Sunday, through to Tuesday. 117 420s from 10 countries are pre-entered: 79 Open and 38 Women’s boats, from Austria, France, GBR, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.
For several teams this is their last international event before the Worlds in Buenos Aires. Leading sailors include Edoardo Mancinelli Scotti & Leonardo Cucchiara (ITA), double Bronze medallists at 2008 & 2010 Worlds, together with Jordi Xammar & Joan Herp (ESP) (4th at Haifa) and Linda Fahrni & Maja Siegenthaler, current ISAF Youth World men’s and women’s Champions, and Cristina Celli & Silvia Morini (ITA), 2010 Worlds Bronze medallists.
