Images of 420 sailors in action
We have three major international events running at once and at least three crack photographers on the job!
Nico Martinez - prolific, professional dinghy racing and yachting photographer - is busy at the 57* Trofeo Ciutat de Palma in Mallorca - and images are coming in daily!
At Imperia Winter Regatta, author of the "Sea Book" and marine photographer, Fabio Taccola has already caught the 420 arrivals in the boatpark (while featuring the Lasers on the water at the beginning of the week). We anticipate bringing some of the images of 420s on the water that will be featured in high resolution in the IWR Sea Book 2007 edition.
The Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) sailing events are also about to start. We are not sure whether there will be a photographer on the water, but the Singaporean team have had a skilful (but, so far, anonymous) cameraman on their coach boat at Pattaya in Thailand, reporting back to the SingaporeSailing very informative website, so we hope to be able to "borrow" a few from them too! (thanks, Shu Fen!)
