GIRLS 420 TEAMS DOMINATE AT CSP LUGANO

The Swiss Championship Series which takes 420 fleet around different venues in the country arrived on the Lake of Lugano over the weekend of 8-9 April 2017.
Solene Mariani/Maude Schmid achieved a super consistent scorecard, counting a 2,2,1,1,2 across the 6 race series, to seal victory by 1 point. The pair went into the final race tied on points with Nick Zeltner/Til Seger, but managed to outpace them around the track to finish 4 boats clear and take victory and top placed junior team.
Second to Zeltner/Seger with the girls' pairing of Sophie Mosegaard/Samira Rast finishing third.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Lugano, nineteen teams contested the event. Up next for Swiss teams is 2017 CSP Morges, 29-30 April 2017.
