CANCELLATION OF THE 2020 420 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN FRANCE

Following extensive discussion between the International 420 Class Association and the Organising Authority of the 2020 World Championships, due to the continued disruption caused by the Worldwide outbreak of Covid-19, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the event to be held in Crozon Morgat, France from 3 to 11 July 2020.

As always, the safety and wellbeing of our membership and volunteers is paramount and we concluded that cancelling the championships is the only viable course of action at this time. This is a great disappointment to the Class in this our 60th Anniversary year. As with the Junior European Championships, we will consider all options to hold a World Championships later in 2020 at an alternative venue.

Further information on both events will be announced as and when it becomes available.

The General Assembly of the Class was to be held during the World Championships on 5th July 2020. As the event has now been cancelled alternative arrangements will be notified to the NCAs/MNAs for the General Assembly as soon as they are known.
