420 CLASS WELCOMES THREE NEW INTERNATIONAL MEASURERS

28
Nov 2017

Complimenting the already strong line-up of International Measurers in the 420 Class, at its recent annual Conference, World Sailing approved three new measurers from Hong Kong, India and Poland with the awarding of International Measurer Status.

World Sailing appoints officials to perform certain functions at the top level of the sport and the International Measurer (IM) is one of these groups of officials. The main purpose of having IMs is, first and foremost, to ensure that qualified specialist race officials will lead the equipment inspections/event measurements at major Class or World Sailing events. All IMs are specialists in one or more Classes, with excellent knowledge of the relevant class rules, certification measurement and high level inspection methods and techniques.

The International 420 Class Association is proud to welcome Patrick Lam (HKG), Ajit Diaz (IND) and Bohdan Goralski (POL) to the 420 Class Measurement Team.

These three new International Measurers, join the existing 420 Measurement team of:
Jurgen Cluytmans (BEL)
Dimitris Dimou (GRE)
Alexander Finsterbusch (ARG)
Barry Johnson (AUS)
Teresa Rios Sanchez (ESP)
Haluk Suntay (TUR)
