420 Class Heads up largest entry list line-up at Kieler Woche
The 420 Class has set the pace for the biggest fleet size racing at the renowned Kieler Woche in Germany, with over 150 teams entered so far.
420 teams from Austria, Belarus, Croatia, Denmark, France, Italy, Great Britain, Hungary, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and the USA will be descending on the home of sailing in Germany for this multi-class regatta.
Many of the 420 teams racing at Kieler Woche will also be heading to the 2016 420 World Championship next month in Sanremo, Italy - so racing against an international fleet will establish a performance measure for teams. Racing for the 420 Class takes place from 23-26 June.
Returning to defend their 2015 title are the USA's partnership of Wiley Rogers/Jack Parkin.Their win at last year's Kieler Woche marked the start of a superb European racing season, which saw the pair take silver at the 2015 420 Worlds and win the 2015 420 Junior Europeans.
Kieler Woche features racing for Olympic Classes, Youth classes, Classsic Yachts, ORC Classes and many more.
