420 CLASS ANNOUNCES PROGRAMME OF COACHING CLINICS IN SOUTH-AMERICA, ASIA AND EUROPE
Renowned for setting the benchmark in provision of innovative training materials, including 420 to the Max and the Performance Exercise e-Book, the 420 Class has announced a programme of clinics in South America and Asia.
The focus is to train coaches and sailors, equipping them with knowledge and expertise in the 420 Class. Click on the links below to find out more:
1st Myanmar and Southeast of Asia Coaches and Sailors Clinic - with the support of the Myanmar Yachting Federation, the 420 Class will organize the 1st Myanmar and Southeast of Asia Coaches and Sailors Clinic from 7-11 September at the Yangon Yacht Club. Head Coach will be the well-known Nikos Drougkas (GRE) who has worked with the 420 Class producing our training material “420 to the Max” and the “420 Exercise e-Book” of performance improvement exercises. 1st Mexican Coaches and Sailors Clinic - Vera Cruz, Mexico, will host the first Mexican Clinic, during October. Coaches from Central, South, North America and Caribean are all invited to participate. The Head Coach will be Steve Keen, originally from New Zealand, now settled in the USA and the 2016 recipient of the US National Coach of the Year Award. High Level Coach Clinic - moving our focus to coaches, the 420 Class will host a High Level Coaches Clinic at Campione del Garda in Italy. The aim of the clinic is to share knowledge and coaching techniques, with sessions delivered by specialists in a mix of shore side theory and on-the-water practical sessions. Led by Head coach Jim Saltonstall (GBR), long time coach of the British Sailing Team who has encouraged, and inspired so many youngsters towards international and Olympic success.
