The challenging race disruptions over the four-day event, caused by the weather system sitting over Australia’s east coast, eventually saw a welcome final day of racing for the close to 400 competitors from all across Australia and 18 other nations across the Olympic and Invited Classes.

Significant challeges for the race management on getting seven races completed for the 420 fleet of twenty-three teams. The final top 6 places all went down to the last race and could have gone in any of the 6 boats favour. The end results for the top 5 are as follows:

1. Cole Tapper/Tyler Creevey - 18 pts
2. Ryan Littlechild/Jack Ferguson - 20 pts
3. Quinn Auricht/Angus Higgins - 21 pts
4. Sophie Jackson/Chloe Harper - 23 pts
5. Ben Hinks/Alexander Magarey - 25 pts

Up next for the Australian 420 teams are the 2019 Australian Youth National Championships in Hobart from10-14 January 2019.
