VICTORY AT BRITISH 420 SPRING CHAMPIONSHIP TO IZI DAVIES / GEMMA KEERS

The winning partnership of Izi Davies/Gemma Keers do it again, wrapping up victory at the British 420 Spring Championships, only two weeks after the pair dominated at the British 420 Inland Championship.

ALL EVENT INFORMATION

Racing in a fleet of 37 boats, Davies and Keers, controlled the race track to take their win. The all-girls podium was wrapped up with Hatty Morsely/Pippa Cropley in second and Vita Heathcote/ Milly Boyle in third.

Co-ordinated calendars means the teams competing at the 420 Class Spring Championship will be  fresh with local race course and weather conditions to add to their experience ahead of the RYA Youth National Championships which kick off on 8 April at the same venue; Hayling Island Sailing Club. The RYA Youth Nationals, which spans five days of competition, is the premier event on the youth racing calendar and the best of the best will be vying for selection to represent Britain on an international stage as well as for a UK Youth Squad place.
