In the first races of the event at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club, Pattaya in Thailand, Singapore took the lead in the men’s and women’s fleets, with Myanmar 2nd in the women’s and Malaysia 2nd in the men’s. Women: 1. Jovina Bei Fen Choo & Sara Li Ching Tan (SIN); 2. Sandar Wai Su & Nyo Lin Knin (MYA); 3. Booncherd Duanghathai & Poonsirikot Angkana (THA). Men: 1. Justin Yinman Liou & Sherman Feng Yuan Cheng (SIN); 2. Min Min & La Kyaw Nay (MYA); 3. Emerson Villena & Lester Troy Tayong (PHI).
