After a testing first weekend of light wind sailing and then Saturday’s strong winds giving some fine races, the final day’s racing had to be abandoned due to the heavy weather. But with a challenging range of sailing, the 420's participating in the Semana de Buenos Aires 2006 had a fine regatta. Sebastian Peri Brusa & Santiago Masseroni were declared the champions. 1st women and 2nd overall were Victoria & Mercedes Travascio. 3rd Francisco Sucari & Francisco Renna ; 4th Agustina Branz & Tomas Ocampo; 5th Sol Branz & Santiago Gambaro. We await the Argentina 420 Class selections of their Teams for the Worlds in New Zealand. Meanwhile, congratulations to all the sailors. Details: http://www.yca.org.ar/. Thanks to Elliot Sucari for keeping us informed and to Claudio Cambrio & Matias Capizzano for some great photos.
