ONLINE ENTRY OPEN for 2016 420 Junior European Championship
The Notice of Race has been published and online entry is open for the 2016 420 Junior European Championship, 29 July-5 August.
Hosted at Balatonfüred on Lake Balaton, Hungary, this combined 420 and 470 Junior European Championship will sees Europe's finest sailing talent joined by teams from around the world.
Online entry details have been sent to all 420 National Class Assocations or ISAF Member National Authorities registered with the International 420 Class Association, so teams can be entered for the 2016 420 Junior European Championships.
For the 420 Junior European Championships each NCA is entitled to 7 entries and the host nation is entitled to 14 entries.The 420 Junior European Championship is for sailors who have not attained his or her 19th birthday before or on 31.12.2016 (i.e. born in 1998 or later).
For the U17 420 Junior European Championships each NCA is entitled to 3 entries and the host nation is entitled to 6 entries. The U17 420 Junior European Championship is for sailors who have not attained his or her 17th birthday before or on 31.12.2016 (i.e. born in 2000 or later).
To log on to the online entry system, each 420 NCA/MNA has been emailed their User name and Password. If you represent the National Class Association/MNA in your nation and have not received this information, please email email@example.com advising your role in the NCA/MNA and contact details.
As detailed in the Notice of Race, entries should be completed and paid for before 29 June 2016 to take advantage of the earlybird entry fee of EUR250. Entries received from 29 June onwards will be EUR300.
