The fleet completed a full score card of 10 races, with two drops. A highlight was to see the two fleets of youth sailors competing, as the Championships were co-hosted with the Victorian 29er Championships.

Nicholas Sharman/James Grogan sailing ‘Azzurra’ finished 1st overall and took the 2015 Victorian Champions on 10 points ahead of the very fast twin partnership of Laura Harding/Hayden Harding sailing ‘Two Little Blossoms’ on 15 points. Sharman/Grogan won 6 of the 20 races, took three 2nd places and an 8th.

Third to Hugo Llewelyn/Jasper Pluim in ‘Hooligan’ on a 25 point scorecard. Sophie Jackson/Ella Sharman sailing ‘LOL’ finished 7th to claim the 2015 Victorian Ladies Championship title.

Notable performances from new combinations were Charlie Dixon/Josh Copeland, Finian O’Gorman/Charlie Basser and brothers Hamish Bolton/Alex Bolton. Congratulations are due to all competitors for their outstanding concentration and light air skills!
