NEW ZEALAND YOUTH TRIALS DECIDE TEAMS HEADING TO YOUTH WORLDS
A demanding four days of racing were on the cards to decide the teams who will represent New Zealand at the upcoming Youth Sailing World Championships in Sanya, China from 9-16 December 2017.
Hosted at Manly Sailing Club, 11-14 October, the winners of the respective fleets earned selection for the NZL Sailing Foundation Youth Team to compete at the Youth Sailing World Championships in China.
So, a nerve wracking series of race days for all across the different Youth Worlds classes contested.
The eight hopefuls in the 420 fleet raced as an open fleet, but there was never any doubting the series winners, who controlled the leaderboard from race1.
Boy's 420
