Khairunnisa Mohd Afendy & Norashikin Mohamad Sayed are the new Asian 420 Sailing Women’s Champions. Rachel Qing Lee & Benita Jia Hui Chua of Singapore were 2nd and fellow team members, Daniella Hui Min Ng & Cheryl Gui Ying Yee took the Bronze. Afendy & Sayed, who were the leading women at the last Asian Sailing Championships in Bali in 2008, have just returned from successful campaigns at the Australian and the New Zealand National Championships. Justin Xiaman Liu & Sheman Feng Yuan Cheng of Singapore, who have dominated the 420s in Asia since winning the 2006 Doha Asian Games and the 2007 SEA Games in Pattaya, Thailand, as well as winning the Junior Europeans in 2007, won the 2010 Championship by 18 points. Ku Anas Ku Zamil & Mohamad Hafizudin Mazelan (MAS) were 2nd and Sangmin Lee & Hoyeob Yang (KOR) were 3rd. Men’s results
