Justin Liu & Sherman Cheng (SIN) head the fleet after the first two races at the Australian National Championships on 8 points with a bullet and a 7th. With equally wide variations in the results between the two races the front runners currently include: Matthew & Robert Crawford (RPAYC) on 12, while Angus Galloway & Alex Gough (Royal Queensland YS) and Matthew Jerwood (SoPYC) & Patrick Vos (FSC) both on 13. David Gilmour & James Omay (RFBYC) (David, the 2008 Australian Youth Champ helm) and. Byron White & Jay Griffin (CYCA) (recent winners at Sail Sydney) are both on 14 points. In 7th place, the leading women’s team are Amy Kivell (Mordiallic SC) & Jacqueline Gurr (Sandringham YC) aboard our old friend ‘MaxSamizer’ (the reigning AUS National Champion boat of Sam Kivell and Max Taylor).
