Lawson/Taylor Win British 420 National Championships
Just 6 races were completed at the British 420 Nationals, with 3 days lost due to the wind. Three races on each of 27 and 28 August gave a rounded 6 race series to decide this year’s overall National Champions Jemima Lawson and James Taylor.
Lawson has spent her Summer at the 420 Worlds and 420 Junior Europeans, but for the home event swapped teams with Tim Riley and James Taylor, to Lawson’s crew Lily Summers moved to crew for Riley.
Close pegging between these two, put Riley and Summers in 2nd overall, with Max Clapp/Joseph Burns in 3rd.
Top ladies team were Sarah Norbury/Mari Davies in 5th overall.
