After a further two races and into the final day of the Australian 420 Nationals, Sam Kivell & Max Taylor have a small 5 point lead over their rivals, David Gilmour & Andres Noe, in spite of the latter’s 2 + 1 scores today. These two boats have a thwacking 22 point lead over the rest of the pack, where Mark Whittington & Scott Sharpe are in 2rd (39 points), followed closely by Matthew Jerwood & Patrick Vos (40) – so another close fight for a podium place. Edward Campbell & James Omay are also in with a shout on 46 points. Lauren Thredgold & Megan Soulsby have an 8 point lead lead in the women’s competition.
