FINAL DAY AT 420 HIGH LEVEL COACHES CLINIC
The preceding 4 days of coaching expertise are being reviewed and new skills learnt as the coaches from Great Britain, Italy, Malaysia, Poland, Romania, Switzerland and Turkey embark on the final day at the International 420 Class High Level Coaches Clinic at Univela, Campione on Lake Garda, Italy.
Taking place from 1-5 October, today's final day will focus on using the online training resources provided by the International 420 Class.
420 to the Max - available in English, Spanish, French, German and Japanese, 420 to the Max introduces a range of specific techniques, and demonstrates how to master them in different wind and sea conditions and what to consider when undertaking a range of manoeuvres.
Exercise e-Book - provides a selection of carefully chosen performance training exercises, with accompanying video and commentary to provide sailors and coaches with a step by step path to improving their skills. From covering boat set-up to techniques at mark roundings, strategies and tactics on the startline to gybing in strong winds, the e-Book covers a diverse range of training exercises.

Saltonstall has been sharing his knowledge on how he encouraged, and inspired so many youngsters towards success over the past 3 decades. Working alongside Jim has been Nikos Drougkas from Greece, author of the 420 to the Max videos and 420 Exercise e-Book. Drougkas has run numerous 420 clinics for coaches and sailors around the world, as well as his own coaching.
