Enoshima Olympic Week
Enoshima Olympic Week 2011 was held from 20-23 October with 420, 470, Laser, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, 49er, Snipe and the Moth classes on show.
Two days of racing and a straight line of bullets for Tsunoda Kiara/Furuya Ayano, representing the Hayama Sailing Association, gave them an uncontested win. A closer contest for places second through to fourth with only one point separation.
Shinta Tsumugu/Mawatari Nagisa from Enoshima Yacht Club Junior team and sailing on home waters delivered a consistent series. Aside from a penalty score in race 1, they finished just behind the series leaders in all other races to claim second overall. A tiebreak for the equal 15 points scores went in favour of Higuchi Kaji/Takai Kou from the Keio High Sailing Team to finish third, with Sator Houmi/Ttoba Yuta in fourth.
