Day 4 of 420 racing at Sail Melbourne
Racing on Thursday 6 December 2012 at Sail Melburne, saw the 420s head out to Course A with their bigger and Olympic sisters, the 470s, to complete three races as well.
Australians Xavier Winston-Smith/Joshua Dawson continue to put a string of firsts together and lead by four points from Klaus Lorenz/James Scott, who continue to collect second place on the track, as well. Jonathon Cooper/Aleksandrs Price are a further four points behind in third, but you cannot help feel sad for Caitlin Tames/Chelsea Powe who were deemed OCS (On Course Side) in the final race and collect 11 points to add to their tally. As a result they are in fourth place, something they have been doing regularly with their racing, and are just two points behind Cooper and Price. Let’s hope they continue in their more accustomed manner from here on.
