All Star Line-Up Of Coaches Support Biggest Ever 420 Clinic in USA
Taking place over the Thanksgiving Weekend in the USA, Coconut Grove Sailing Club is hosting the LISOT Thanksgiving Clinic. Kicking off on 25 November, the clinic is set to be the largest 420 Clinic inthe history of the 420 Class in the USA.
Twenty-eight 420s have descended on the Coconut Grove Sailing Club in Miami for the four-day clinic. Sailors will be coached and inspired by a stellar pedigree of coaches, including Olympic medallists and many involved in Rio 2016 Olympic campaigns:
Steve Keen - LISOT Head Coach, Team USA 2015 ISAF Youth Worlds I420 Coach, 2012 US sailing development coach of the year
Lucas Calabrese - 2012 Olympic Bronze medalist in the 470, Leading ARG men's 470 contender for 2016 Olympics
Dave Hughes - 2015 470 European Champion, 2012 US Olympic coach, Leading US men's 470 contender for 2016 Olympics
Briana Provancha - 2015 Pre-Olympics winner, 2007 ISAF Youth Worlds winner, leading US women's 470 contender for 2016 Olympics.
Lior Lavie - 2nd Jr 470 World Championship
Morgan Reeser - two-time Olympian, 1992 Silver medalist in the 470, multi Olympic medal winning coach
Larry Sutter -- 2015 470 Women World Champion Coach
- Matt Wefer -- Collegiate All-American, former US Olympic Team member
