Maria Bover/Margarita Alba controlled the fleet from day 2, once their 23rd place finish in race 3 could be discarded. The pair representing Real Club Nautico de Palma knocked out a consistent scoreline and string of top results day after day. For them, the series was not all about winning, with just one race win in the bag. Their approach was simply solid and steady racing.

Going into the final day, Bover/Alba counted an 11 point advantage over Diogo Costa/Pedro Costa from Portugal. A 9,20 score from the Portuguese dashed their hopes of a podium finish, as they slid down the leaderboard to finishin 5th. Bover/Alba continued their form to claim two third places in races 10 and 11 and win by 11 points over Marta Garrido/Ana Lobo. Garrido/Lobo went into the final day in fourth place, with scores of 2,8 accelerating them up to second. Third to Elias Aretz/Helenio Hoyos (ESP).

Racing was also held for Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, Laser, 470 Men and Women, RSX Men and Women, RSX Youth 8.5 and Finn.

Coming up soon is the 2015 Spanish 420 National Championships from 30 March-5 April 2015 at El Puerto Santa Maria.
